About Erik
I'm an operator-first buyer, which means my goal isn't to own a business at arm's length. It's to roll up my sleeves, learn the operation, build on what's already working, and run it full-time from day one.
My background is in consulting, entrepreneurship, and real estate, with hands-on experience working alongside business owners and buyers through the acquisition and operation process. My goal is to protect an owner's hard-earned work and build on the contributions the business has made to its community.
Log Bridge Ventures was formed with one purpose: to acquire and operate a single business for the long term. The name comes from a great love of the outdoors, hiking often, and on occasion over fallen trees to cross streams and rivers.

A diverse set of experience that touches all sides of business.
Worked inside complex organizations to analyze operations, evaluate systems performance, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and execution across teams and functions. I know how businesses actually run, not just how they appear on an org chart.
Founded an AI-driven senior care startup from the ground up, leading market research, customer discovery, product scoping, vendor selection, feasibility analysis, and capital allocation. I understand what it takes to build something, and the decisions that come with it.
Collaborated directly with small business owners on operational and strategic initiatives including process improvement, systems implementation, and customer experience optimization. These were real relationships with real founders; I understand what they've built and what they've sacrificed.
Supported an independent business buyer across the acquisition lifecycle, including deal sourcing, business evaluation, due diligence, and transaction planning. I've seen how deals come together, what can go wrong, and what keeps them going.
Licensed real estate agent with hands-on experience in asset evaluation, underwriting, transaction support, and client coordination. Diligence, contracts, and the emotional weight of major decisions are not new territory.
Outside the Office
Whoever you sell your business to, you're choosing a person, not just a buyer profile. Here's a bit more about who I am outside of work.
I help coach my local high school and college rugby teams. I enjoy the process of building character, discipline, and teamwork in the next generation.
I love the outdoors and the beautiful USA. I've journeyed across 43 states and made my way to many of the amazing national parks across the country.
I'm a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and compete in tournaments. It's a sport that rewards patience, demands grit, and requires the discipline to keep showing up.
